Support
Help with your BioSkop account, playback and community safety.
Contact BioSkop
Support is currently handled by the BioSkop project owner at thendonengwenda@gmail.com.
Include the app version, device type, what happened and the video or comment involved, if relevant. Share only the information needed to understand the issue. Never send your password, SMS code, email-verification link or payment-card details.
Email supportSigning in
Use the same email or phone number you used to create your account. Phone sign-in opens a secure verification window and asks for the SMS code there; delivery may be unavailable for numbers outside supported countries. Avoid repeatedly requesting codes. Email verification links work once and can expire; use the newest email.
The content-management dashboard is reserved for authorised administrators. Verifying an email does not grant every account administrator access. Ordinary viewers can use the BioSkop app without being a content manager.
Playback and downloads
Check your connection and reopen the video if playback fails. Access links expire, so reopening a video requests a fresh link. Offline downloads require current authorisation, expire and are available in the mobile app. Signing out clears the account’s downloads. If a problem continues, send the video title or ID and app version to support.
Report harmful comments
Open the menu beside a comment and choose Report comment. Select the reason and add details if needed. Reports are reviewed by a BioSkop administrator, who can hide or delete comments. Please report spam, harassment, hate speech, sexual content, violence or another safety concern.
Choose Block in the comment menu to hide that account’s comments and prevent supported interactions between your accounts. You can manage blocks in Settings → Blocked users. Reporting and blocking are separate actions.
Do not post illegal material, threats, harassment, hate speech, sexual exploitation, spam or other harmful content. For a concern about a catalogue video, copyright or other content without an in-app report option, email support with its title or link and the concern. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Notifications
Enable or disable push alerts in Settings → Push notifications. Your device must also allow notifications. Disabling device permissions alone may leave the previously registered delivery token stored with your account; switching the in-app toggle off removes it.
Purchases and subscriptions
BioSkop includes free-to-watch videos. All seven current sample videos are free, and there are currently no videos marked Premium. Only videos explicitly marked Premium by BioSkop require paid access. A monthly subscription can be purchased only when shown as available in the app with a described premium benefit. Where offered, the store displays the price and purchase terms before you confirm. Use Settings → Restore purchases to check eligible purchases made with your store account. If a purchase is unavailable or verification fails, access is not marked as purchased. If the store charged you but access is missing, contact support with a redacted transaction reference; do not send a receipt link containing account tokens.
For any existing App Store subscription, manage cancellation at Apple’s subscription management page. Deleting a BioSkop account does not automatically cancel store billing. Refund requests are handled through the store that processed the purchase.
Delete your account or ask about privacy
Use Settings → Delete account to begin permanent deletion. You will confirm your identity before the final deletion step. Read the account-deletion guide for what is removed and what may be retained. For data access, corrections or privacy questions, read the privacy policy or contact the project owner.
